Santiago de Chile – Punta Arena & San Pedro de Atacama

City Tour. This entertaining half day tour consists in visiting the main attractions of Santiago, the country’s most important cultural, cosmopolitan and artistic hub. We start out with a visit to the highpoints of the city’s civic center, being on the road with the Cerro San Cristobal and Cerro Santa Lucía (emblematic urban parks located in the heart of the city), the La Moneda Palace (presidential offices) and the traditional Plaza de Armas square, a meeting place for Santiago’s diverse and multicultural expressions.

Buildings of historical value can be found in the neighborhood, such as the Metropolitan Cathedral, National Museum of History and Central Post Office. We later walk through the Parque Forestal, a park running parallel to the Mapocho river with a variety of tree species offering a refreshing break from the urban agitation of the city’s center, and continue on to Bellavista neighborhood, Santiago’s bohemian neighborhood, with some of the best bars and restaurants in the city. Duration: 4 hours approx.

Full Day Tour Viña del Mar and Valparaíso
Valparaíso, a port city and a UNESCO World Heritage site on the Pacific coast, is known for its colorful hills and is just two hours from Santiago, making it a must-see for all visitors. Valparaíso is also home to one of the residences of Nobel Prize winner and poet Pablo Neruda.
Next to Valparaíso is Viña del Mar, a garden city and renowned seaside resort, famous for its international song festival. Its beaches, such as Reñaca and Las Salinas, are perfect for relaxation and swimming in the cold water. The gastronomy, rich in seafood, offers a unique experience not to be missed.

We begin our journey from Santiago and head towards the coast, passing through the beautiful valleys of Curacaví and Casablanca, known for their famous vineyards. Upon arrival, we enjoy panoramic views of Valparaíso and the National Congress from the coastal road. We explore Valparaíso by heading up to its iconic viewpoints on the hills and strolling through its colorful alleys filled with street art, live music, and small restaurants. / Lunch is at your own expense.
On the way back, we make a stop at the Veramonte Winery (this stop can also be made in the morning before reaching Viña) in Casablanca, where we enjoy a guided tour of the vineyard and taste selected wines. You will take a full-day tour to the Penguin Park at Useless Bay, where you'll have a unique opportunity to see the charming Magellanic penguins in their natural habitat. This colony is one of the largest in the region and a must-see for animal lovers.

After a beautiful bus ride through the vast Patagonian landscape, you will arrive in Puerto Natales, a peaceful and picturesque small town that serves as the gateway to Torres del Paine National Park.  Overnight at Hotel Best Western or similar. Meals: Breakfast.

You will embark on an amazing full-day tour to Torres del Paine National Park, one of the most spectacular national parks in the world. Here, you will encounter majestic mountain peaks, shimmering blue glaciers, and endless plains teeming with wildlife such as guanacos and condors. On the way, you will also visit the fascinating Milodon Cave, where the remains of the prehistoric giant ground sloth, Milodon, were discovered. Overnight at Hotel Best Western or similar. The day offers an unforgettable boat trip through Patagonia's fjords to the Balmaceda and Serrano glaciers. You will sail close to the massive ice formations and experience the dramatic landscapes from the water. Overnight at Hotel Best Western or similar. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

We continue with a bus journey to San Pedro de Atacama, one of the world’s most surreal and impressive desert cities. Here, you will encounter the dry beauty of the Atacama Desert, where salt flats and dramatic mountain landscapes stretch as far as the eye can see. Overnight at Hotel Casa de Don Tomas or similar. 07:30 AM Ruta de Los Salares. The day begins with stunning views from the viewpoint at the Licancabur volcano, followed by a visit to Bofedal de Quepiaco, a wetland teeming with life at high altitude in the Altiplano. Next, we will visit Los Monjes de La Pacana, mysterious and massive rock formations in the heart of the desert. Finally, we end the day with a visit to Salar de Quisquiro, known for its beach-like salt flats, fed by two water flows: the Río Salado river and the Estero Loyoques stream. Early in the morning, you will embark on an unforgettable tour to the famous El Tatio Geysers, where you can witness steam columns rising from the ground at dawn.
