The conditions presented here are the conditions governing the contract between the traveler and the tour operator. The agreement also includes information on the current tour arrangement available on our website and the tour program which you should take note of.
General and Specific Travel Conditions
For the trip, the general and specific travel conditions for package tours that you find here. The general travel conditions are adopted as agreed with the organizer.
The specific travel conditions mentioned here are special conditions for the organizer and supplement the general conditions of travel. The main travellers is the person in whose name, the booking is made and listed first in the travel documents. He is also responsible for payment of the reservation. The ticket is personal.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
Our general conditions
• For every booking, we need photocopies of passports of all participants. This is to buy admission tickets, entrance to the Inca Trail, air tickets, train tickets and the hotel. Please scan your passport and send to your sales representative or to the following e-mail address “info@sierratours.io”. Note The passport must be submitted with your booking form. Sierra Tours is not responsible for any additional costs incurred due to the travellers does not submit his passport in time.
• Kindly inform if you have any special requirements of the food. (Vegetarian, low salt, low fat, diabetic, allergies or other requests) Note: This must be done at time of booking.
• After a confirmed booking you will awarded a booking reference. Please always state this at all further contact with us.

• After a confirmed booking you will get your program and a invoice for this specific trip. Please check carefully that all the information matches what is agreed for your trip. Take extra care to check that your name is spelled correctly then that is how you are booked on any flights. Sierra Tours is not responsible for any extra costs that may arise due to misspelled names. If this not match with your travel program, you should immediately contact us.
• If any of the hotels in your program would not be available on your travel time, we provide you with a hotel in an equivalent or better standard.
• Local guided tours of programs with English / Spanish speaking guide.
• We recommend strong that you obtain a comprehensive travel insurance so that you have the full protection during your stay in South America.
• Approximately 30 days before your departure you will have all travel documents. Flight tickets, vouchers, etc. Please check carefully that all the information matches what is agreed for your trip. Contact us immediately if anything is unclear.
• If you choose to pay the full amount of the trip at once, we will send your travel documents within two weeks.
• If you booked the international flights your selves please let us know your arrival and departure times.
• NOTE! Travelers who travel via the USA must complete an ESTA application. Please click the link below or contact us for more information.
General Payment Terms & Conditions:
• 20% deposit: 7 days after confirmation for Land and Cruises.
Some Cruises request 30% to 50% payment, for such cases, Sierra Tours will
advise you in advance.
• * 50% deposit: 7 days after the confirmation for island hopping programs to
guarantee the navigable, daily tour excursions, and hotels.
• 100% payment: 60 days before operation, in case services include the island
hopping programs.
• 100% payment: 30 days before operation for main land services.
General Cancellation policy:
• 20%: The confirmation deposit is not refundable
• 50%: Between 29 and 16 days before starting the program
• 100%: Between 15 days or less before starting the program
Cruise ships:
• 25%: Confirmation deposit is nor refundable
• 100%: 60 days or less before starting the program.
• Special dates such as Easter, Christmas, New Years, national holidays and regional holidays may have different cancellation policies, check for them.
• The conditions vary according to the different shipping companies, but note that once the reservation is confirmed no cancellation without penalty is possible. Check the cancellation policy in each particular case.
Flights:
• The conditions vary according to the different airlines, but keep in mind that once the ticket is issued there is no cancellation without penalty and in some cases there is no refund. Check the cancellation policy in each particular case.
